Indeed, I think that we should not speak of two world wars, but rather of two stages of one single world war, if we want to understand this war according its specific characteristics, instead of simply listing as one species within the genus war. Its distinctive feature is that it was set up from the start as a war-revolution against what was left in Europe of the “Middle Ages,” the vestiges of the Holy Roman Empire and the Catholic Church.

The War for Christendom 
Hope you will give your comments in support of this statement. Even in winning these wars (if winning is an appropriate word), it seems Europe lost part of its soul. We know as always, a remnant of faithful remains amid the unbelievers.
Faithful groups speak out against abortion and march in the defense of the defenseless. Some years ago I participated in the March for Life in Washington DC, and there was a group from France who journeyed here to unite their witness with prolife Americans. A number of countries in Europe have impressive marches supporting life and faith as well. All is not lost!

As we see every day there is a spiritual battle going on and we must choose to be firm in our beliefs and express our opinions with kindness. It is not always easy.
